Freemasonry, what is it all about?

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest social and charitable organisations in the world. Its roots lie in the traditions of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles. For Freemasons, there are four important values that help define their path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity. In today’s world filled with uncertainty, these principles ring as true as they have at any point in the organisation’s history.

Broadhurst Lodge 9415

The Lodge was consecrated on 21st May 1991, however its origins stretch back to 1907, when a group of masonic friends met in Broadhurst Gardens, West Hampstead to rehearse the ritual. This was the start of a very distinguished and long running Club of Instruction called Broadhurst Club. The Lodge was formed by members of the club in 1991 and meets at Halsey Hall, Watford.

Royal Arch Chapter

The ultimate step in Pure Ancient Masonry. We look forward to welcoming all Master Masons into Royal Arch Chapter. We have many members who will be delighted to welcome any Master Mason into this Supreme Degree. Please ask any Chapter member or the Lodge Chapter Representative.

Club of Instruction

We hold weekly Club of Instruction at the Centre in Watford and rehearse our upcoming ceremonies. This is where members get to know each other in a friendly and informal manner and learn the rituals. Laughter is common, gentle mischief is tolerated and mistakes are expected.
